The 2.5 pound slide hammer, with its sturdy T handle, provides the grip and torque required to remove worn or damaged seals and press fit parts using the hook included. By locking the slide hammer onto the 4-point yoke, you can create a flange type axle puller to extract parts with threaded holes such as stud axles and spur gears. Additionally, the hook can be used to remove stubborn bearings, seals, and other press fits. The kit includes 3 pullers that cater to removing semi-floating rear axle bearings ranging from 1" to 2-7/8" axle ID, covering most domestic makes and models.
